JOHN BANAS, Development and Strategic Relationship Growth

Mr. Banas joined Bluestone in 2005 to focus on new business development and strategic relationship growth for the firm.  Today, his responsibilities include originating new business, raising equity for the firm’s clients and structuring and negotiating loans for all product types. 

Mr. Banas lends his business acumen and entrepreneurial experience to help the firm’s clients achieve their financing goals.  Prior to joining Bluestone, Mr. Banas owned and operated a successful chain of independent fitness centers in and around Philadelphia. He funded the majority of the business through the raising of private equity.

Mr. Banas holds BBA’s in both Real Estate and Human Resource Management from Temple University. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute, and CCIM, through which he is completing his designation.
