NAI Bluestone Real Estate Capital, a Philadelphia based real estate investment banking and advisory firm, has announced that Sanford (Sandy) Fischer has joined the firm as managing director. In his new role, Mr. Fischer will spearhead the development of two new dedicated finance divisions, NAI Bluestone Residential Capital group and NAI Bluestone Business Capital group to handle all of the firm's residential and business financing transactions.

NAI Bluestone’s Residential Finance group will help borrowers secure first and second mortgages for single family residences (1-4 units), while NAI Bluestone's Business Finance Group will provide securities-based lending services and work to secure commercial business loans on behalf of business owners.

Prior to joining NAI Bluestone, Mr. Fischer was president of Mortgage Discounters located in Fairless Hills, PA from 1979-2006. Mortgage Discounters was a residential banking firm specializing in residential lending and small commercial loans that was sold to a major institutional investor.

Mr. Fischer earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Long Island University. He is a past president of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers Educational Foundation, as well as a past president of the Pennsylvania Association of Mortgage Brokers. Mr. Fischer also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.
