MATTHEW E. MCMANUS, Chairman, NAI Bluestone Real Estate Capital

Matthew McManus brings more than 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry to NAI Bluestone Real Estate Capital. As chairman, Matthew has been instrumental in raising more than $5.5 billion in equity and debt capital for the firm’s nationwide roster of public and private clients.
 
Matthew is responsible for the origination of business and oversees the structuring of transactions to appeal to NAI Bluestone’s institutional and private investors. He also provides advisory services to the country’s top real estate owners and developers. A significant part of his career has been dedicated to structuring, recapitalizing and leading real estate owners through the emergence and recovery of pending foreclosure and bankruptcy.
 
Leveraging his firm’s formidable distressed asset experience, Matthew launched the NAI Bluestone Asset Resolution Group, an advisory group that helps distressed commercial real estate owners and lenders work out financing issues in today’s troubled market. Matthew has extensive experience advising real estate owners and lenders on some of the most complicated real estate transactional and advisory assignments.
 
Under his leadership, NAI Bluestone has received numerous awards including the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Philly 100 Award, which recognizes the region’s fastest growing companies; Inc. 5000 and the Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal’s Financing Deal of the Year Award, an honor it has received for the past three consecutive years. Matthew is also the recipient of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s prestigious 40 under 40 award, which is awarded to proven performers and leaders within their respective industries.

Matthew currently serves on several advisory boards with companies within NAI Bluestone’s real estate investment portfolio. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence University.
