NAI BLUESTONE REAL ESTATE CAPITAL ADDS NEW SENIOR DIRECTOR
NAI Bluestone Real Estate Capital, a Philadelphia based real estate investment banking and advisory firm, has announced the addition of Jerry Castafero as senior director. In this role, Mr. Castafero will be responsible for originating, structuring and closing real estate loans as well as equity investments for the company across all major product types.
“Jerry brings more than 30 years of experience, in depth industry knowledge and strong consulting relationships in the commercial real estate business to our firm, and we are thrilled to welcome him to our team,” said Matthew McManus, Chairman of NAI Bluestone Real Estate Capital.
Previously, Mr. Castafero served as the Senior Vice President of development at O’Neill Properties, one of the nation’s leading brownfield developers. In this capacity, he led the company’s retail development group and was responsible for multiple phases of development activities including financing, entitlements, planning and design and construction.
Prior to that, he has held high profile positions at nationally renown companies such as Ernst & Young LLP,, Binswanger Company, and LCOR.
In addition to his responsibilities as senior director, Mr. Castafero is also founder and president of the CREA Group, a commercial real estate advisory firm. The CREA Group serves corporate, institutional, and private clients in their various commercial real estate needs, which include asset management, owner and tenant representation, development, project management, and financing.
Mr. Castafero earned his Master’s of Business degree in finance and operations and Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Delaware. He has been quoted as a real estate expert in regional and trade press, including Real Estate Forum, Real Estate Investor, Philadelphia Business Journal, TriState Business Journal, and Commercial Property News. Mr. Castafero is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), TriState Commercial Realtors, Pennsylvania Realtors, and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
